Stewart went west as a child. He farmed the NE 1/2 17-3- 7 at Darlingford until 1962 when Leonard took over the farm and Stewar t & Veda retired to Darlingford. Stewart is a lover of horses and use d horse power for farming longer than many others. For thirty years S tewart was King Billie on July 12th for his lodge. In that period h e used on three horses. The lodge presented him with a plaque for hi s services. In 1973 Stewart & Veda sold their home and moved to Hig h River, Alta., to be near their family.
