• Obituary, 1960. 32 Gull Lake, Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada McBurney - The passing or Mrs. Rose McBurney in her 79th year of 607 A valon Apts., Saskatoon occurred at her late residence on Monday, Jul y 4. 1960. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7 at 1 0 a.m. from Park Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev M. Nicolson. Survivi ng are three daughters, Mrs. K G. Riddell (Ruth) of Cornwall, Ont.: Mr s. Timothy Nelson (Alma) of Vermilion Alta., and Mrs. William Dumonsk i (Audrey) of Manitouwadge, Ont.; two sons Arthur L. of Saskatoon an d Wilbert R. with the R. C.A. F. in Winnipeg, Man. ; one sister, Mrs . Jessie Rogers of Vancouver, B.C.; one step-sister, Mrs. Beth Davie s of Edmonton Alta.; three brothers, Albert and Arthur both of Seattle , Wash., and James of Vancouver, B.C. The late Mrs. McBurney, was bor n in England and came to Canada in 1881 to the Moosomin district and l ater to the Souris district. She was married in Winnipeg in 1903 and m oved to Gull Lake, Sask. in 1911. For the past five years she had resi ded in Saskatoon. Mrs. McBurney was Post Mistress of the Gull Lake L.O .B A. She was predeceased by her husband, William in 1941. The remain s will be accompanied to Gull Lake where a graveside service will be h eld on Thursday, July 7 at 4 p.m. Interment will take place in the fam ily plot in the Gull Lake Cemetery.
